The Beginnings

Mums Matters was set up in November 2005,  to  forefill  an uncovered need. This need was for mums to have time to themselves, meet and bond with other mums, away from their children.

After the first group session in January 2006, the positive response and great uptake from local mums made the concept for the group even stronger.  Almost 3 years down the line, the Mums Matters  Group continues to run successfully and independently, providing that much needed support to mums.
